Even if we put all our efforts into producing the best possible version of LayOverSN™, you might encounter a situation where the app's navigation is stuck. This unwanted behavior that prevents you from interacting with the app at all may occur at any time and be triggered by any type of action. Maybe you wanted to update something within the app or change your settings.
If this is your case, we've added a way to reset the app to its default state in the version 2.1.0 update. This action will remove all your settings and session data, but it will allow you to start over with a clean slate.
From the login screen :
- Tap and hold over LayOverSN™'s animated logo for 5 seconds or more then release
- Tap on 'OK' to reset the app or 'Cancel' if you changed your mind
From the home screen :
- Tap and hold over the main navigation menu on the profile icon for 5 seconds or more then release
- Tap on 'OK' to reset the app or 'Cancel' if you changed your mind
Versions later than 2.1.0, from anywhere in the app :
- Tap and hold with three fingers anywhere on the screen for 5 seconds or more then release
- Tap on 'OK' to reset the app or 'Cancel' if you changed your mind
This action will sign you out from your active session and remove all your settings, session data stored locally and return you to the login screen.
You have followed the instructions but the app is still misbehaving ?
Uninstall the app completly from your device, reinstall it, and just to be sure, repeat the procedure from the login screen before attempting to log back in.
For future updates:
Your private conversations are saved on your iCloud and Google account. Only the cached data potentially responsible for the app's unwanted behavior will be removed.
Once reconnected to your account, the app will synchronize with the cloud to download your conversations back onto your device.
